Introducing J.Derobie, a Ghanaian dance-hall rapper who makes his mainstream debut with a new single titled “Poverty“.
J.Derobie (Derick Obuobie Junior) is a beneficiary of Mr Eazi‘s emPawa Africa initiative, which aims to provide $3,000 music video grants to 100 African artistes.
“Poverty” is an inspirational song produced by UglyOnIt, which features J.Derobie singing about one’s desire to break free from poverty and attain success.
The music video for poverty was shot by Ghanaian filmmaker Salifu Abdul Hafiz.
