Next-rated singer Ayo Jay is making a bold statement of intent with his long overdue debut EP – “Lazy Genius“.
The EP is a 7-track compilation featuring guest appearances by Akon, Safaree, Rotimi, James Yammouni & Faydee.

‘Lazy Genius’ is a compilation of songs that reflect my current sound; a sound that I think is the perfect fusion of Afrobeats, Dancehall, Hip Hop & Pop music; essentially making it for the World! These are genres of music that I either grew up listening to or I picked up along the way so I drew a lot of influences from them for my overall sound and for this project in particular.
“Lazy Genius” also features the impressive production efforts of Young D, HOD, Melvitto, Willie Tafa, Davy Pata, Sako, Midi Jones, YOBO Music & Ayo Jay himself.
